How the X Platform Changed My Life in Investing and Growth
How the X Platform Changed My Life in Investing and Growth is something I didn’t expect at first.
I used to believe what people like Sir Alex Ferguson said—that SNS is a waste of time. I agreed. For anyone not working in sales or public outreach, social media felt like a vacuum of time and energy. Something unnecessary.
But ironically, that’s why I realized it was something I needed to face and get used to. Slowly and intentionally.
From Doubt to Direction
Once I created my X account, I saw its first benefit: access. Instant access to news, insights, and information. I started following people who shared my interests. Some followed me back. I placed my WordPress link at the top of my profile. That was my first strategic move.
From Reading to Reaching People
At first, all I wanted was to consume information. But the second goal emerged naturally—engaging with like-minded people, leading them to my blog. There, I could share my knowledge and thoughts again, opening a space for reciprocal dialogue. That was the extent of my plan.
Learning by Doing, Not by Following
Of course, X is flooded with people claiming success. Spam accounts. People promising to show you the way.
In real life, no one around me has ever truly helped me with investing.
But strangely enough, on X, those kinds of people are everywhere.
And yet, it’s clear that most of them are driven by their own gain.
So I learned by myself.
I watched videos. I read. I failed. I tried again.
Last year, I read over 50 books—Buffett, Dalio, Lynch, Kostolany, Minervini. I’m reading Market Wizards now. I’m still evolving.
The Quiet Ones Are the Real Mentors
I no longer trust easily. I now weigh everything with my own logic and intuition.
That’s one more hidden strength of the X platform.
The people who really know how to make money? They’re not messaging strangers. They don’t promote their systems. They’re already winning—silently, efficiently.
This Is the Real Return
Through X, I observe them. The ones ahead of me. The quiet giants. I learn by watching, by thinking, by refining my own path.
And that—far more than follower count or engagement—is the true return I’ve gained.
